This artist goes beyond the surface of the canvas

Sculptural elements created by applying different materials onto the
surface of the canvas allow the artwork to expand into the room.

I add organic elements to my paintings such as leaves, twigs, bark and
stones, and the paintings come alive with imagery generated by the play
of light and shade. Artworks literally change throughout the day as
light changes within a room. You can't paint these effects; you must
sculpt them in.

The images are unforgettable in more than one way.

What is a Dimensional Canvas?

The paintings above are displayed against photos of the areas from
which my inspiration is drawn. California's Anza-Borrego desert and the
misty coastal Redwood forests play host to these two images. This fine
art is not intended to be a photographic reproduction of the subjects,
but rather a visual narrative of a journey beyond reality.

"Desert Rose", a painting I did which features an old truck lost in the
desert sands is seen through a screen of genuine dry desert foliage,
much as you would come upon a rare treasure while hiking through the
dunes. Check it out. While I don't produce all of my paintings with a
dimensional twist, the images that feature these effects may surprise
you.

How dimensional is this artwork?

To get the best effect of this artwork, you should see them in person.
Since this is not always possible, I have included several images from
different perspectives to portray what I'm referring to. "Mesquite",
"Old Lace" and "BneepBneep" are examples of these.

You won't see artwork like this anywhere else in the world.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
